Bride Discovers Mom’s Dress Is Not Hers And Tracks Down Rightful Owner
A 28-year-old bride-to-be, Lexie Ippolito, had hoped to wear her mother’s wedding dress on her own special day. However, when she opened the box where it had been stored, she discovered that the wrong gown was inside!
She found a clue stitched into the dress helped her identify its rightful owner, a bride named Heidi. Lexie tracked her down through Google, only to learn that Heidi had passed away from a blood disorder. Where this becomes a feel good is that she was able to return the dress to Heidi’s mother, who was very emotional getting it back. ‘Inside Edition’ had the story, and hopefully this spotlight will now help find Lexie’s mom’s dress, which is still missing!
