The Weeknd Had The Highest-Grossing Tour For a Male Artist

The Weeknd has set a new record for the highest-grossing tour by a male artist, with his “After Hours Til Dawn” stadium tour earning over $1.3 billion.

Confirmed by promoter Live Nation, the total ranks third all-time, behind Taylor Swift’s “Eras” tour at over $2 billion and Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres” at over $1.5 billion. The previous male record was held by Elton John’s “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour at $939 million. Spanning 176 shows across 67 cities, 30 countries, and five continents since July 2022, the tour sold more than 9 million tickets.

The Weeknd also donated $8.5 million to humanitarian causes throughout the run.
